Ulster prop Tom O'Toole has said he intends to get his head down and "stall out in" in the wake of being named in Andy Farrell's first preparing squad as Ireland lead trainer.
O'Toole is one of nine Ulster players in Farrell's 45-man squad and will join a "24-hour mid-season stocktake" at the IRFU's High Performance Center.
"I'm clearly pleased and it is something I have imagined about for some time," said O'Toole.
"I need to absorb each snapshot of it."
The 21-year-old joined Ulster's Academy in 2017 and made his senior introduction the next April, before being remunerated with a senior agreement in the late spring.
The Drogheda-conceived player has gotten the attention of Farrell and his training group subsequent to showing up for Ulster this season.
"It will be energizing for me to get the principal taste of what life resembles at that level," included O'Toole his call-up.
"Now of my vocation I'm pleased to be included and I'm glad to put my head down and gain from a great deal of the players that will be there.
"It's great to have a ton of the Ulster folks descending too and I will have a receptive outlook.
"I simply need to do as well as can be expected. I need to continue improving a little bit at a time, and this is a completely new level for me.
"It will be an extreme situation however it's an extraordinary one for me to develop in."

O'Toole will be joined by colleague John Cooney, who has assumed a featuring job for Dan McFarland's side this season.
"He truly merits it. Around the Ulster squad he is such a pioneer, he is continually doing extra and he buckles down," included O'Toole.
"He cherishes this club and he puts such a great amount into this group. I'm enchanted for him and he is prepared for the chance."
Quality top to bottom in key
Ulster, who have won their last five apparatuses, make the excursion to the RDS to play Leinster on Friday, a setting where the region have battled previously.
"I think everybody is sensibly content with where we are right now," included O'Toole.
"I think the contrast between this year and some different years is the profundity of the squad.
"Everybody is trying for spots and the group making a beeline for Dublin this end of the week are sure that we are going to place in an exhibition.
"I think we are on the whole energetic for the test and any individual who is chosen is going to place in a hard move.
"We're altogether energized. Leinster are clearly so great at home and it will be a monstrous test."
